Although m. brachialis is the only muscle attached to (inserting on) the tuberosity of the ulna, m. pronator teres, m. flexor digitorum superficialis, and m. supinator do take their origin from the “great roughness” of the coronoid process, i.e., both lateral to and medial to m. brachialis, as Vesalius might have viewed it.
