Caelius Aurelianus (ca. 5-6 cent. AD) wrote a Latin paraphrase of Soranus’ On Acute and Chronic Diseases and Gynecology. See Temkin 1956 passim and On Acute Diseases and On Chronic Diseases, ed. and tr. by I.E. Drabkin (Univ. of Chicago Press, 1950). As the names of these works imply, Caelius’ works are therapeutic rather than anatomical, and they do not, like the Hippocratic De articulis (note 42), discuss injuries: hence there is next to nothing about the bones.
