(Chapter 9) Footnote 35:

Each side of the maxilla actually articulates with nine bones: two cranial: frontal and ethmoid, and seven facial bones: the nasal, zygomatic, lacrimal, inferior nasal concha, palatine, vomer, and its fellow of the opposite side. This sentence and the previous one were abbreviated in the 1555 edition as follows: “But at that point it should be considered a line rather than a suture. And so the fourth bone is conterminous with sixteen bones, etc.”
